Official Contest Rules & Regulations

1. SPONSOR
This contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by Penticton Hyundai, located at 448 Duncan Ave West, Penticton, BC, V2A 7N1 (the "Sponsor"). The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Hyundai Motor Company, FIFA, or any FIFA World Cup™ organizing body.
2. PROMOTION PERIOD
The Contest begins on May 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) and ends on May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT (the "Promotion Period"). Test drives must be completed within the Promotion Period to be eligible. Winners will be drawn on June 1, 2026.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia, Canada, who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry. The following individuals are NOT eligible to enter:
- Employees, officers, and directors of Penticton Hyundai;
- Immediate family members of the above (defined as spouse, parent, child, sibling, or any person residing in the same household);
- Any person who does not meet the residency or age requirements stated above;
- Any person who is legally prohibited from participating in a contest of this nature.
4. HOW TO ENTER
No purchase necessary. To receive one (1) entry into the Contest, eligible individuals must complete a qualified test drive of a new or demonstrator (demo) Hyundai vehicle at Penticton Hyundai during the Promotion Period. Specifically:
- The test drive must take place at 448 Duncan Ave West, Penticton, BC, V2A 7N1;
- The vehicle test driven must be a new or demo Hyundai model available on the dealership lot;
- The test drive must be conducted with a dealership sales representative present and must constitute a genuine, good-faith test drive of the vehicle;
- Each eligible individual is limited to one (1) entry per day, regardless of the number of test drives completed;
- Each eligible individual may receive a maximum of one (1) entry for the duration of the Promotion Period.
At the time of the test drive, participants must provide their full legal name, phone number, and email address to be entered into the draw. By providing this information, participants consent to being contacted for the purposes of prize notification.
5. PRIZES
Three (3) prizes will be awarded. Each prize consists of:
- Two (2) premium tickets to one (1) FIFA World Cup™ 2026 group stage or knockout stage match taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada;
- Approximate Retail Value (ARV) per prize: $1,000 CAD (2 tickets);
- Total ARV of all prizes combined: $6,000 CAD (6 tickets across 3 winners).
Each prize does not include transportation, accommodation, meals, parking, or any other expenses not explicitly described above. Prizes have no cash value and cannot be transferred, substituted, or exchanged, except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. The specific match, date, and seat locations will be determined by the Sponsor based on available inventory and are subject to change without notice. Winners may receive tickets to the same match or different matches, at the Sponsor's discretion. If a selected match is cancelled or significantly altered and no replacement tickets are available, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
6. DRAW AND WINNER SELECTION
On June 1, 2026, three (3) winners will be selected by separate random draws from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The draws will be conducted by a representative of Penticton Hyundai. Each eligible entry may only win one (1) prize. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Each selected winner will be notified by phone or email within five (5) business days of the draw date. If a winner cannot be reached within five (5) business days of the first notification attempt, or if a winner is found to be ineligible, or if a winner fails to claim their prize within the time specified, the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify that individual and select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
7. WINNER VERIFICATION
In order to claim a prize, each selected winner must:
- Confirm their eligibility by providing valid government-issued photo identification;
- Sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Release of Liability within the timeframe specified by the Sponsor;
- Comply with all applicable Contest rules.
Failure to comply with any of the above conditions may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
8. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering the Contest, all participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Penticton Hyundai, its employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in the Contest or the use or misuse of any prize. The Sponsor is not responsible for:
- Any technical errors, delays, or failures in the contest entry process;
- Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance and use of a prize;
- Cancellation, postponement, or alteration of FIFA World Cup™ 2026 match schedules;
- Any ticket restrictions, terms, or conditions imposed by FIFA or event organizers.
9. PRIVACY
Personal information collected from Contest participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and notifying winners. This information will not be shared with third parties except as required for prize fulfillment, or as required by law. By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for these purposes in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest at any time if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest.
- Any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws.
- The Sponsor's decisions regarding all aspects of the Contest are final and binding.
- This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
- The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
11. GOVERNING LAW
This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
