Changes From Last Year's Model
While there are a few changes, it’s mostly a carryover from the previous year. However, the model still features some new additions in the form of a "Trend Package." This package includes 20-inch wheels and leatherette seating for the Preferred trim.

Interior Design and Functionality
The truck's interior is simple yet elegant, featuring cloth or leather seating depending on the trim. With the Trend package, seating for the base trim is upgraded to a leatherette material. The base trim also includes a six-way manually adjustable driver's seat. The truck's rear seat is a 60/40 split bench with tip-up lower seat cushions. Additionally, the front seating on all trims is heated, perfect for the winter months.
Exterior Features
The Santa Cruz's exterior is stylish and features alloy wheels, which help stand out against the body. The standard for the base trim is 18-inch wheels. However, 20-inch ones are available as an additional upgrade and standard on the Ultimate trim tier. Additionally, the exterior features LED daytime running lights and LED side mirror repeaters. The pickup is equipped with a lockable under-bed storage compartment and sidewall bed storage compartments.
Performance and Capabilities
The truck comes with a Smartstream 2.5-litre Turbo GDI engine. It has a power output of 281 horsepower with 311 lb-ft of torque. Its fuel economy is pretty decent at 12.2 L/100 km in the city and 8.7 L/100 km when on the highway.
